Kastaş at the ESA Special Executive Meeting in Düsseldorf
On September 25-26, Kastaş was honored to participate in the ESA Special Executive Meeting in Düsseldorf, where our Technology Director represented the company as the Chairman of the Elastomeric and Polymeric Sealing Division (EPSD). This prestigious event brought together the leading minds of the European Sealing Association (ESA) to chart the future of sealing technology for the next five years.
The two-day event kicked off with a day dedicated to divisional technical meetings, focusing on critical industry advancements and emerging trends. This was an opportunity for experts to dive deep into specialized topics and set priorities for ongoing technical projects.
Day two featured the Special Executive Meeting, a highlight of the event. Here, ESA's Executive Team, Division Chairmans, and Technical Directors gathered for a "Blue Sky Day" session, a strategic workshop aimed at envisioning the future of the industry. The Blue Sky session is a rare opportunity to think beyond immediate challenges and explore ambitious, innovative ideas that will shape the sealing industry’s future.
The last Blue Sky Day took place in 2019, and the ideas cultivated during that meeting have successfully materialized over the past five years, despite the unprecedented challenges posed by the global pandemic. This year's session promises to be equally impactful, as the ESA continues to lead the way in innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement in the sealing industry.
We are proud to have been part of this important event and look forward to implementing the groundbreaking ideas discussed to drive the future of sealing technology.
