Celebrating 20 Years in the Chinese Market

PTC Shanghai continues to be one of the most important exhibitions for Kastaş. Having entered the Chinese market in 2004 and participated in PTC since 2006 without interruption, this year’s event marked our 20th anniversary in this growing and strategic region.
China has become one of the top demand centers for hydraulic applications, alongside Europe and the Americas. Our strategy in China and other Asian markets focuses on strengthening our distribution network to ensure product availability and building OEM partnerships with quality-oriented cylinder and machinery manufacturers across various industries.
Parallel to our increasing brand awareness, we are proud of our technically competent distributor network that keeps stock locally, serves regional markets, and expands Kastaş’ customer base through strong sales and marketing efforts. In addition, we continue to grow our direct supplies to large-scale OEMs, both local and global, operating in China.
The Chinese sealing market is highly competitive, with both long-established global players and emerging local producers. Kastaş stands out with its comprehensive material and product range, global application expertise, and high-quality products supported by sustainable lead times and responsive service. Our ability to supply directly to top manufacturers—even those located alongside global competitors—demonstrates our strong market position.
At this year’s exhibition, Kastaş introduced several innovations, including KKB high-performance guiding tapes, known for their superior load-bearing capacity and form stability; K515, a new thermoplastic piston seal featuring an advanced TPU compound and O-ring energizer for sustainable and cost-efficient alternatives to PTFE seals; and the SmartSeal Material Solutions range, offering PU, PTFE, and composite semi-finished products for customers seeking reliable material partners for their machined-seal operations.
Throughout the four days of the exhibition, we welcomed numerous visitors, reconnecting with long-term partners and meeting many new contacts from China, Asia, and around the world. As the only European exhibitor in our hall, Kastaş once again demonstrated its global reach and commitment to the Asian market. We look forward to meeting our partners again at PTC next year.
