Kastas took part in the IXth National Hydraulic Pneumatic Congress and Exhibition
The IXth National Hydraulic Pneumatic Congress and Exhibition, where scientific and technological developments, papers, trainings and workshops in the fields of use and application of hydraulic and pneumatic systems were presented to industry stakeholders, took place between 16-19 November 2022 at MMO Tepekule Congress and Exhibition Centre. Kastas, with its innovative solutions and wide range of products, came together with its customers for four days at booth 349 on Level A.
Kastas Technology Director Ozan Devlen took part in the round table meeting on Friday, 18 November, where the impact of Green Transformation and Circular Economy on the Hydraulic and Pneumatic Market was discussed. The importance of sustainability for the world and the future and the sector market were discussed and new ideas from different sectors were shared.
52 papers were published and Kastas Sealing Technologies participated in the congress with 3 papers. Kastas R&D Senior Manager Cem Tanyeri represented Kastas with his papers on Simulation and Optimisation of Composite Bearing Elements with Analysis Programmes, Kastas R&D Manager Seçkin Semiz and Kastas R&D Senior Manager Cem Tanyeri on Design of a New Dust Seal Test Device and Verification of Dust Seal Performance, Kastas Design and Project Engineer Oğulcan Yıldırım on Development of Double Acting Piston Sealing Element Used in Mobile Hydraulic Systems with Finite Element Method.
The training on Selection of Sealing Elements Depending on Areas of Use was conducted by Sercan Karakoç, Kastas R&D Design and Project Manager, on Wednesday, 16 November with the participation of approximately 150 people.
Sercan Karakoç, Kastas R&D Design and Project Manager, and Recai Bıçakçı, Kastas R&D Test Centre Technician, completed the workshop on Common Problems in Sealing Elements and Installation Techniques on Friday, November 18. They informed the visitors from many different sectors by addressing issues such as installation, long service life and solution suggestions.
