Kastas Shared Information on R&D Application Engineering

Kastaş Sealing Technologies Test Center Manager Cem Tanyeri and Kastaş R&D Senior Engineer Mine Ünlü Cebeci attended the User Conference organized by Bias Engineering on October 5-6, 2023, in Istanbul.

Test Center Manager Cem Tanyeri discussed the Analysis Programs and Simulation and Optimization of Composite Guiding Elements in his presentation. He elaborated on how mold optimization using Msc Marc, Moldex3d, and Digimat software enhances the load-carrying capacity of bearing elements.

R&D Senior Engineer Mine Ünlü Cebeci gave a presentation on "Investigating Parameters Affecting the Performance of a Dynamic Sealing Element with the Finite Element Method." The performance of sealing elements is directly influenced by factors such as channel dimensions and tolerances during assembly, geometries of the channels, and surface roughness they come in contact with. Using support from the Msc Marc program, the presentation analyzed the potential outcomes of these parameters in real-world applications.

During the conference, the Kastaş Sealing Technologies team shared valuable insights and experiences specific to the industry, providing attendees with a meaningful perspective.
