On November 24th, 2023, a significant milestone was achieved in the global machinery industry with the publishing of ISO 5119:2023. We at Kastas Sealing Technologies are thrilled to celebrate this landmark event! 

ISO 5119 “Low temperature sealing capability of elastomeric seals — Test methods”, proposed by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), represents a groundbreaking step in standardizing machinery industry practices. This standard not only enhances product quality and safety but also facilitates international standardization, fostering a unified approach across borders for the determination of low-temperature properties. 

As a leading company in the sealing industry, we are particularly honored by this achievement, as it marks the first-ever ISO standard in the machinery industry proposed by Türkiye. This is not just a win for us; it's a testament to our nation's growing influence and commitment to excellence in the fluid power industry.

Special congratulations to Ozan Devlen, our Technology Director, who played a pivotal role as the Convenor and Project Leader in the development of ISO 5119. His expertise and leadership have been instrumental in reaching this milestone.
