Kastas visited Kastas 40th Anniversary Memorial Forest in cooperation with the Aegean Forest Foundation to commemorate its 40th anniversary!

The Aegean Forest Foundation, which was established with the principle of planting trees, protecting forests and spreading green awareness to all segments of the society, carries out very important afforestation and protection projects with various projects in suitable areas. As Kastas, in line with our sense of responsibility towards nature, we came together with the Aegean Forest Foundation in a meaningful project to commemorate the 40th anniversary of our establishment and became a donor for the Kastas 40th Anniversary Memorial Forest.

During this meaningful visit with the participation of our employees and our Chairman of the Board of Directors Haydar Atılgan, we were informed about the importance of nature and the role of trees in our lives. While sharing detailed information about the formation, ecosystem and maintenance of the forest, the importance of nature-friendly practices was also emphasised. 

During the continuation of the event, we all experienced the happiness of planting trees and planting our saplings in the soil. 

At the ceremony in memory of this special forest, a plaque was presented to our Chairman of the Board of Directors, Haydar Atılgan, by Perihan Öztürk, General Manager of the Aegean Forest Foundation.
