Kastas Participated in HPKON

Held for the eighth time at Izmir Tepekule between 22-25 November, the Hydraulic Pneumatics Congress (HPKON) presented the progress made by the Turkish industry in engineering solutions to the attention of domestic and foreign visitors. Kastas, one of the sponsors of the congress, which is organised every three years and attracts international participation, shared its R&D and engineering know-how with the congress participants for four days.

While the Domestic Sales and Marketing team introduced Kastas' products and services to the visitors, R&D Manager Ozan Devlen, R&D and Application Managers Sercan Karakoç, Arsen Yıldırım, Seçkin Semiz and Cem Tanyeri shared Kastas' innovative solutions for sealing elements with the audience through their presentations and trainings.

"PERSPECTIVES ARE CHANGING"
Haydar Atılgan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kastaş, pointed out that HPKON has made a great contribution to the development of the sector and companies, and said that the issues raised at the congress have changed companies' perspectives on R&D and innovative solutions.

Noting that the results of scientific research and application bring growth, innovation, design and production, Atılgan said, "HPKON is not only a ground that brings together the hydraulic and pneumatic sectors. Machine manufacturers and those who use the machines they produce share all technical processes, good practice examples and areas that need improvement by brainstorming. In this way, they find the opportunity to improve processes and design new methods. As Kastas, we, as one of the organisers of the congress, are pleased to shape the future vision of the sealing technologies sector."

R&D CENTRE APPROVAL IN 2018

Pointing out that Kastas has been conducting R&D at international scale and quality since 2006, Haydar Atılgan said: "We aim to be accepted as an R&D Centre by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology in the first months of next year. Our work has reached its final stage. The fact that our R&D and Application team present their work at international congresses and symposiums such as HPKON increases our pride. Kastas will continue to add value to all its stakeholders and the Turkish industry with its value-added production and service approach."
