Kastaş Introduces New SmartSeal Materials for Enhanced Food Safety

In food processing systems, wear and tear of sealing elements can lead to the risk of broken particles contaminating products. This issue can result in costly product recalls and potential health risks. To enhance food safety, Kastaş has added new materials to its SmartSeal® series, which can be detected by metal detectors and X-Ray machines.
These materials, produced with metal-infused compounds, enable immediate detection of broken sealing element fragments on the production line, ensuring contaminated products are rejected promptly. This innovation significantly improves quality control processes in manufacturing.
